Chekkalu Ingredients
Chekkalu, Chekkalu cuisine, Chekkalu Recipe, Chekkalu South India cuisine, Chekkalu Dishes of Andhra Pradesh
  • Rice flour 2cups
  • Ground nuts 2tbs
  • Bengal gram 4tbs
  • Salt 1tsp
  • Green chillies 6nos (ground to paste)
  • Water to make dough
  • Oil for frying

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients and knead it to a dough by adding enough water.
  • Make lime size balls from the dough.
  • Press the balls with the palms to make it flat.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Fry more than one at a time.
  • Store in an airtight container.
