Victoria Museum (Vijayawada)

Victoria Museum of the Archaeological Department situated on Bandar Road contains attractive paintings worth seeing.
Mahishasura Mardhani, Siva as ehamdesa and Buddha images are some of the important exhibits. This two storied building preserves Arms,
Armour manuscripts, Textiles, Stone cut writings, Gold and Silver coins which were used by them throughout their Kingship showing and boasting the beauty of Andhra Pradesh. An example of sculpture art, an idol of Lord Siva sculptured during 4th or 5th centuries can also be seen here.
