Koat Pitha

Koat Pitha (Banana pitha)

Ingredients
Koat Pitha, Koat Pitha cuisine, Koat Pitha Recipe, Koat Pitha East India cuisine, Koat Pitha Dishes of Arunachal Pradesh
  • 6 Ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup Rice flour, sieved
  • 1 cup Grated jaggery
  • 250 gms Mustard Oil or vanaspati

Method

  • Mix the jaggery and the mashed bananas.
  • Fold the rice flour gradually into the banana jaggery mixture.
  • Heat the oil and spoon the batter into the hot oil on medium heat.
  • When the pithas turn golden brown drain them on brown paper.
