Rang Ghar
Rang Ghar is a double storied
oval shaped pavilion, Considered the first amphitheatre of Asia having
tiers of seats rising gradually outward from a central open space built
by the Ahom rulres of Assam from where they watched the watched the
different sporting events and festivals on the ground below in the
historical town of Sivasagar which is an architectural highlight of the
Ahom era.
