Masks
 In Bihar, Mask making is hereditary trade with
some families, though even in these families only those who are dancers
are allowed to make masks. The masks are mainly used in chou dance of
Seraikala. Dance is originated in the middle ages but the masks have
gained a sophisticated look over the years. Originally, the masks were
made of wood, & then Bamboo. Today they are made of paper mache. |
