Kushk Mahal now lies within the composite of the Teen Murti House, which houses the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library.
Kushk Mahal is an almost square rubble-built formation, three-aisle deep and with three arched openings resting on stone pillars. Its vaulted ceiling is finished flat on the roof.
Kushk Mahal was probably built by Feroze Shah Tughluq and was used by him as one of his several hunting lodges. Originally there existed an embankment near it, which stored rainwater
