Badkhal Lake
 Badkhal Lake near Faridabad in Haryana is an ornithologist’s paradise. The lake is
surrounded by low-lying Aravalli hills and it is only 32 km from New
Delhi. Here the Aravalli hills crowd around a waterbody held back by an
embankment. Around this shallow bowl, Winter brings flocks of migratory
birds and hoardes of tourists. Badkhal lake delights with its large
water body. There are a number of restaurants and motels around the
lake, and a flower show is held every spring. |
