It is very close to Nagarhole National Park and is a paradise on the banks of the river Kabini. Wildlife abounds in the lush greenery.

Elephant, monkey, bison, panther, sambar, sloth bear, tiger, crocodile large egret, white necked stork, peacock, racket tailed drongo, goldenbacked woodpecker, osprey, brown-headed fishing eagle among 250 species.
