Situated in Hampi, at the back the Elephants' Stables, Singarada Hebbagilu is one of the most huge and oldest gateways in the capital city.
It is a vast gateway called 'Singarada Hebbagilu' or the 'beautiful door' because of its good-looking architecture, which is evident in each and every stone that has gone into its making. The gate, according to an inscription that has been revealed near it, was the main entrance to the city.
