Puttu

Puttu & Pappad

Ingredients

  • Rice flour 2 cups
  • Coconut grated 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Fry rice flour well.
  • Add enough salt and sprinkle water till it becomes fairly wet.
  • Now take the puttu pan and first fill it with one teaspoon of grated coconut then add the rice floor and again add coconut at intervals till it is full.
  • Steam for 10 minutes.
  • Serve with hot pappad.
