Jhansi Festival
 The Jhansi Festival is a lively arts and cultural event held in February/March. A recent introduction to Madhya
Pradesh`s festival calendar, it is a locally organized program of music, arts and dance.
Jhansi is also known for the Feast of St Jude on 28 October
when thousands of desperate Christian pilgrims congregate on St
Jude`s Church to plead their case to the patron saint of lost causes. The big day is preceded by a 10 day no vena. The church is said to enclose a relic of
St Jude.
