Hanging Gardens (Malabar hills,MUMBAI)
The Hanging
Gardens (Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens), on Bal Gangadhar Kher Road at the top of Malabar Hill, contain interesting bestial topiary (clipped hedges) and shy courting couples. These gardens are located just opposite to Kamala Nehru Park. These gardens are popularly known as Hanging Gardens, because of their location on the slope of a hill.
The garden is built over three reservoirs, which store 30 million gallons of water pumped here for cleaning before being supplied to the town. The garden is well maintained. Joggers and fitness freaks flock to the garden in the morning and evening.
