Lah-Ho Dance
Lah-Ho is a principal dance of the
people living in the eastern regions of Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya. It
is performed just for plain amusement. Lah-Ho involves mostly boys, who
form two rows by placing hand on each other’s shoulders. Women are
excluded from this dance. Grouped in such a manner, they move in a
rhythmic manner.
