attraction among the tourists to Rishikesh. It is situated in Rishikesh
Uttaranchal. The Ganges crosses this bridge. Ram Jhula the other
suspended Iron Bridge was recently builds between Shivanand Ashram and
Swarg Ashram. This Jhula is similar to the Lakshman Jhula. It is also
called Shivanand Jhula of Rishikesh. Newly constructed building Gita
Bhavan is famous for its attractive paintings and statues from the
Hindu mythology. It is situated just across the Lakshman Jhula.
Triveni Ghat is a bathing ghat like Har Ki Pauri ghat
of Haridwar. Daily in the morning and evening there are thousands who
take bath here. Neelkanth Mahadev is a famous temple of
Rishikesh. It is situated at a height of 1675 M. Neelkanth Mahadev is 12
kms from Rishikesh and is surrounded by peaceful forests.
Some
other tourist place is situated near Rishikesh like Dehradun,
Mussoorie, Valley of Flowers, Chila, Narendra Nagar,
Kunjapuri, Auli and Devprayag. Dehradun city
is the Capital of Uttaranchal state of India. Dehradun is the most
developed city of North India. According to the epic of Mahabharata
Dehradun was founded by Guru Dronacharya. Dehradun is a
gateway to the trendy hill station of Mussoorie, Haridwar and Rishikesh.
Mussoorie is also known as the queen of hill stations.
